Testimonials

Dr.Phillips is an amazing professor and supervisor. She is deeply knowledgeable about the counseling field and will advocate for her students beyond what would be expected.

Former Supervisee

Dr. Phillips addresses cultural and diversity issues openly so that we are prepared in our field for real-world issues. Dr. Phillips understands the challenges of the graduate student while trying to maintain a normal life outside of the pursuit of higher education. She knows how to meet the student where he or she is at while still having high expectations.  She is invested in the success of each of her students equally. The belief she has in the abilities of her students is off-the-charts amazing and encouraging.
